I gaze at myself…

Happy Hump Day friends!

Today, I have a little something for the fellas. I found a poem that fits perfectly, in my opinion, with the images I have chosen. This is one of my tamer poems. *giggle* I’ll be sure to give you something nasty next time guys. 😉

I have great respect for women who love themselves and bask in self-confidence. It’s too many women out there who look for reasons to criticize themselves, and pick at their imperfections because they don’t fit the mold of beauty that society has built. I have to say something, and I’m pretty sure most men would agree with me.

There is nothing, and I mean nothing, sexier than a woman who carries herself with pride and confidence. Holla!

Okay, enough of my chatter. Onto the juicy pics. 😉

I gaze at myself because I like what I see

My full lips, my exotic eyes, my thick frame… damn I’m sexy

Naw baby, don’t call it arrogance, it’s simply self-love

It’s this open love for myself that got you thinking of

All the naughty things you could do to me if only you could get close

To hold me, to feel me, to breathe in the scent of my blossoming rose

You like to see me gaze at myself because it makes you hot

Don’t deny it, I see the way you’re looking at me and caressing your crotch

Isn’t it lovely, my bold curves, my wicked swagger, my smooth skin tone

I am all woman, compelling, beautiful and fierce, to desire me is not wrong

I could stand here admiring my beauty and teasing you all day

Don’t let that discourage you, keep your eyes on me, and never look away

  1. Ok that was hella sexy hott. I’m intrigued enough to want to put you on blast over at my space. Give me a shout if your interested. Goregeous blog spot by the way. I’m off to check out your website.

  2. Yes! Love it, I always tell women who start putting themselves down, it’s not what you look like, it’s how you feel about yourself! There’s no such thing as an ‘ideal’ everyone’s tastes–including men’s–are different. Don’t try to fit other’s molds, be the best YOU can be, and you’re perfection!

  3. Love it, Yvonne! Wow, that was awe-inspiring. Many woman need to read this poem. So many woman and men are dealing with self-esteem issues. Once you learn to be yourself and stop trying to be someone else…You will be a better, more happier person. That was just awesome.

    1. Thank you Serenity! Yes, you feel me. Self-loathing can tear a person apart. It’s the refusal to accept that you’re different and beautiful in your own way that causes this. Truth is, poor self-esteem will always be an issue because society is going to continue to uphold that mold of perfection that they’ve created. I always love it when you leave comments. Hugs.

  4. Love for your self allow you to open yourself up to be love in ways and places that are out of bounds for the closed minds of never being fulfilled. Self love for even what other call imperfections can be exciting to someone who is open to the art interpretation of a so-called flaw. Like kissing and licking the freckles of a woman’s faces she may not like her freckles but it may be one of the things that excite him to free himself to be in freak-dom. You expressed that freedom through self-love.
