How did you celebrate on New Year’s Eve?

As usual New Year’s Eve was a crazy night for me. I’m still shaking off a hangover with more champagne, but I feel damn good. I had a wonderful year last year, and met some amazing some people who have become great friends. I’m springing into 2012 with a positive mind and much love to give. Muah!

For New Year’s Eve, most of my friends go out and celebrate, get into the mix and party like nobody’s business, then wake up in a stranger’s house, not sure what happened the night before. I’ve been there many times in the past, and have some mortifying stories to tell. Forget it, I’m not telling you. 😀

I figure, if I’m going to get royally fucked up on New Year Eve, might as well do it in the comfort of my own home. Just in case I do something embarrassing, which is very likely.

First thing’s first, get the boys in bed.

As soon as it hit 8:30p, I was running them to bed.

It’s not an easy task since my boys are night stalkers. They run from sleep like it’s hunting them. The QVC glow bug and some classical tunes took care of that.

By the time I got down stairs my hubby was setting up goodie platter and drinks. Yummy. For the last three years we’ve celebrated New Years with sushi, sashimi and warm sake. We figured we’d change it up this year.

This platter did the trick!
