777 Challenge

What’s good people! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. Mine was all work and no play, but I’m certainly not complaining. 🙂

I was called out in the 777 challenge by the beautiful and talented Serenity King, my secret author crush. 😉

The way it works, I post a passage from my current WIP. Page 7, 7 lines down & 7 sentences. This snippet is from the Dragon’s Lure, an extended tale from The Dragon Queen Series. Enjoy!

Passage from Dragon’s Lure:

Flora quirked a brow and returned her scowl, accompanied with a little mind provoking enchantment.

April’s eyes grew wide. Beads of sweat popped out over her bunched brow and a shade of her peachy complexion leached away. Clutching her belly, she dropped to her knees and cried out.

“Or I will cast upon you every ounce of this sickness you have cursed me with. Ten fold,” Flora hissed in mental message. Screaming, April fell onto her side and curled into a ball. “You think I’m weak because I am ill? Is that why you entered my room with your hate-filled mind unguarded? Grave mistake.”

Don’t mess with Flora. She’ll get into your head and eff you up! *giggle*
