After watching the Oscars last night, I’ve made a decision. 😀
If the Dragon Queen Series was ever made into a movie, I want Lupita Nyong’o to portray the badass Andausian, JADE. For those who don’t know, Andausians are humans born with special supernatural abilities. Jade’s power is telekinesis and telepathy, which makes her a powerful ally to the Dragon Queen and a deadly foe to demons. Here’s a little insight on Jade. She was born in a small village in Africa. After her family was attacked by a band of vicious vampires, she was rescued by holy warriors, and raised as a weapon fueled to destroy all hellish creatures that go bump in the night.
If you’ve read the series, then I’m pretty sure you’ll agree that Lupita is the perfect Jade. 😉

When Lupita was accepting her Oscar, I saw Jade standing there. I even turned to my hubby and said, “Oh my goodness, that’s Jade.” Her accent, her beauty, her amazing skin… She is perfect!
That aside, I think she is a phenomenal actress, and it is evident she is on the rise. I hope she continues to soar in her acting career, and remain the humble, beautiful angel she is.
