I Have My Own Online Bookstore, Thanks to Amazon. #IndieAuthor #rankstripping #ASMSG

The war on erotic romance continues!

Erotic Romance and Erotica authors are being censored, yet again. Like many of my fellow authors, Amazon has stripped the ranking on some of my titles due to their erotic content. They are making these titles difficult to find, which means we lose potential readers. We received no warning of this as a professional courtesy. Our books just disappeared from the mass catalog, like they never existed.

This is heartbreaking and unfair.

But there’s a way the readers can help!

Did you know I have my own online bookstore?

In all honesty, I would’ve launched my bookstore regardless of Amazon’s ranking adjustment. I created it without Amazon in mind. My thoughts were on the readers. However, being that Amazon is the biggest ebook distributor around–the same distributor who is hiding some of my titles–this makes my online bookstore necessary. And this is the case with many of my fellow indie authors.

The best way to get around this unfortunate turn of events and to support your favorite author is to find out if you can purchase their novel from their website. I’ll be posting some of those websites on my FB Author Page this weekend. Swing by and find a new erotic romance author to support.

**UPDATE: I just received word that Amazon returned the bestseller ranks to some of my titles. I’m not sure if I should be relieved or nervous about what’s next. They sure do know how to keep us on our toes.

Anywho… Back to writing. *smooches*

Thanks For Reading!
