The second Stephan lays eyes on her, he has to have her. Despite his reservations, he approaches her. He lures her in with promises of a passionate rendezvous, but he has a secret that may ruin the night he has planned for her.

Fernand, a celebrity chef, has been in a relationship with Stephan for the last couple of years. When Stephan comes home with a gorgeous woman he met at a restaurant, Fernand becomes furious. But after getting a dose of her witty, charming personality, he finds himself captivated with her.

Christmas Delights Excerpt ~ Surprise

“Stephan, you ass!” The man turned, giving them a full rear view of his muscular backside and sprinted around the corner. “Why the fuck didn’t you call and tell me you were bringing home company?” he yelled, poking his head around the wall.

“It is surprise.” Stephan stepped into the suite, attempting to pull her in with him. “Surprise!”

Tranell’s feet were literally rooted to the ground. Sure, she was tipsy, but what she just saw was not made up in her intoxicated mind. That man was butt-bootyass naked holding a Christmas, stocking-shaped cake over his lower region. And if she wasn’t mistaken ‘I Love You’ was scripted across the cake in gold icing.

“Tranell, come.”

“Is he the roommate? Why is he nekkid and…and why was he…” she stuttered on a shaky whisper.

“We are…ah…what is the word? Nudist?”

Hand on her hip, she served him a sidelong glare. “That’s bullshit.”

Shoulders jumping, he chuckled softly. “Oui, okay. Bullshit. I try and be funny.”

“Not funny, Stephan!” the naked man shouted from behind the wall.

“Stephan, be real with me, okay,” Tranell said in an undertone. “Is…is that man your lover?”

All amusement leaked from his sexy eyes. “Come in, and I explain.”

“No, uh-uh…”

Huffing out a deep breath, she allowed him to lure her into the apartment. God, she hoped this situation wasn’t what she thought it was―that the man who had wooed her body so skillfully wasn’t playing some kind of twisted game with her.

“Tranell, meet, Fernand. Fernand, this is new friend, Tranell.”

Fernand stumbled out, zipping up a pair of jeans that hung low on his lean hips.

She gulped back the saliva building in her throat and involuntarily swiped her tongue over her upper lip.

For lack of better words, Fernand was damn fine.

The contours and ridges in his torso were magnificent, sculpted to perfection, and muscled in all the right places. A shaggy mass of curly, raven hair sprang from his head and dangled over his brow, enhancing the extraordinary color in his irises, which were a striking crystal blue. In stature, he was a little bigger than Stephan, more muscular than him as well.

“Hi, Tranell. Pleasure to meet you.” Probing eyes roaming up and down her frame, Fernand offered his hand. “Sorry about greeting you in my birthday suit. I didn’t know Stephan was—sorry.” Fernand had a distinct French accent but clearly spoke English a lot better than Stephan did.

“It’s okay. It’s not every day I come to stranger’s house and meet his roommate in the nude.” She giggled nervously and shook his hand. “Though it was a treat to my womanly eyes, I have to be honest and say it was a little disconcerting ‘cause it sorta looked like you were naked for…Stephan.”

That traditional, tight-lipped smile slid across Fernand’s lips. His blue eyes narrowed and shot over in Stephan’s direction. After a few awkward seconds, he cleared his throat and headed for the kitchen. “Soo, you like coffee? I make great gourmet coffee. Come on, I’ll make you a cup.”

Aw hell, something is definitely a little shifty with these two.

But that didn’t stop her from following Fernand’s delicious booty. What could she say? Being in the company of two gorgeous men appealed to her lady needs, even though the little voice in her mind was screaming at her to get out while she could.

Fall Into #Romance Blog Hop #Giveaway YOU CAN WIN CHRISTMAS DELIGHTS! #IAN1

Romantic excerpt from my holiday novel, CHRISTMAS DELIGHTS (m/m/f interracial romance)

*Winner’s Choice* for the Fall Into Romance Blog Hop

christmasdelights333x500On Christmas Eve, Tranell Merdock finds herself in one of the most romantic countries in the world. Yet, she is stuck slaving over work. She steps away from her demanding job as a successful management consultant to seek a little respite at a local restaurant and draws the attention of Stephan, a very attractive Frenchman.

He lures her in with promises of a passionate rendezvous, but Stephan has a secret he neglects to tell her.

Will Tranell shy away from a night guaranteed to be filled with forbidden pleasures or allow Stephan to take her on a journey she will never forget?

Stephan emerged dressed in all black and garbed in an ankle-length leather coat, whistling softly. He winked at them and made his way to the door. “Be back.”

Since it didn’t appear Fernand was going to ask, she did. “Where ya’ running off to?”

“I left something in car.”

“Right. Sure you wanna leave a sex-deprived woman alone with your hot boyfriend?” she called out as he disappeared into the foyer.

Wow, did I just say that out loud?

Throaty laughter sailed from around the corner. “Fern, make sure Tranell still here when I return.”

“Oh, she’s not going anywhere,” Fernand assured him.

“Whateva. Like you can keep me here against my…” She turned back to Fernand and suddenly lost her train of thought.

The glimmer of sensual longing in his gaze quickened her pulse. A shudder ripped through her. “Uhmm…” Dammit, this is twisted. The look in those starry-blue eyes made her want him. Made her want the both of them.

“Sex deprived?” he asked softly. “Really?”

Breath caught in her throat, she ripped her eyes away. For the sake of doing something with her hand, she retrieved the small spoon from the tray and swirled it around in her coffee.

What to do when you set yourself up for a mortifying conversation? Change the subject.

“Soooo, you uh…you know where he’s going?”

“My guess is to get you a Christmas gift.”

She perked up and dared a look at him. “What, why? He doesn’t have to do that.”

“He doesn’t, but he wants to. I told you; he likes you. He only uses the left something in the car ploy when he needs to sneak out and purchase a gift. It’s not for me because my gifts are under the tree.”

She shook her head. “Aw, that’s very sweet, but noo, not for…tell him not to do—”

“You asked me a question earlier. I want to answer it but before I do…”

He rolled onto his stomach, pushed up on his hands and knees, and crawled over to her.

Reflexively, she scooted away until her back met the couch.

He laughed. “Trying to get away will do you no good.” He grabbed her legs, pulled them from under her hips, and attempted to reach beneath the hem of her skirt.

Tranell quickly slid her cup onto the side table and slapped her hands over his. “Whoa, buddy. Wha’cha doing down there?”

He nodded toward the hearth. “The heat is starting to get to you.” He caught the tab of the zipper to her right boot and dragged it down her calf. “You’re still wearing your jacket and boots. Sweat beads are starting to pop out on your pretty face. You have to come out of all these clothes, girl.”

“Ha! The hearth’s not what got me sweating.”

“I’m going to take that as a compliment.”

“You should,” she managed to breathe out. “Look, I’m okay, really.”

“Sure you are. Once that alcohol kicks in, you’re going to be melting all over everything.”

She tucked away a grin. “Is that such a bad thing?”

“Not going to answer that,” he sang beneath a chuckle. He sat her boots next to the couch and started rolling down her socks. “Damn, girl, you have the smoothest skin I’ve ever felt. Feels like silk.”

“Thanks. Exfoliating and daily moisturizing pays off.” God, that was so lame. Sounds like I’m advertising some skin product. She watched him steadily, noting the attentiveness of his slow actions. “For a gay man, you’re really good at undressing a woman.”

“Ha-ha…” Grinning bashfully, he straddled her legs and unbuttoned her fitted jacket, starting at the bottom and working his way up. “Not like I haven’t done it before.”

“I can do this myself, ya know.”

“Really? You’re not making any attempts to stop me.”

“Didn’t say I didn’t like it.”

Ah yes, another year. I am both grateful and excited to have made it this far. Many did not make it and I can only pray that their souls are in peace.

I woke up this afternoon with a tad bit of a hang over, but refreshed and ready for 2013. My night was filled with good eats, sake and champagne. My favorite was the crab claw cocktail—crab claws dipped in lemon-butter sauce.

Mmm…yes, it was just as delicious as it sounds and looks.

While I was on my way to intoxication, I reflected on this past year and the people I’ve met. I am blessed in so many ways, and the Almighty continues to bless me more each year.

Sometimes people come into your life for a season. I call these people fair-weather friends. I’ve had only a couple of them this year. And even though we’ve drifted apart, I wish them all the best and success in 2013.

That aside, I have a whole slew of friends who have come into my life and who have been a part of it from the beginning. They have shown me so much support and love I can do nothing but love them in return. I appreciate their friendship. And I make it point to tell them every chance I get. Because tomorrow is not promised to any of us, we all should open our hearts and let the ones who we love know that we love them.

So with that said, I wish you all a HAPPY 2013!!!

Forget the New Year’s resolution and remember to live life to the fullest.

I Am Thankful…

On this day of Thanksgiving I’d like reflect on everything I’m thankful for. And believe me when I say I have ton to be thankful for.

First and foremost, I must say that I’m thankful for my family. They smother me with so much support and love. Wow, I couldn’t be happier than I am now.

I’m thankful for my friends, both old and new. I know many people say this but I mean it when I say I have the best friends in the whole wide world! These are the people who shower me with support on a daily basis, the people who stop what they’re doing just to listen to me vent, the people who do things for me just to put a smile on my face. You know who you are.

I love you, I love you. I! Love! You!

You have no idea how much I appreciate your friendship.

I’m thankful for the fans! For those of you who send me emails and tweets expressing your love for my stories, for those of you who bought my book a second time when I rereleased it because you loved the story so much, for those of you who send me pics and inspiration to keep me going. I am so very thankful for you. You make me very happy, and you are the reason I will continue to write.

And I give a huge THANK YOU to God. It’s because of Him I have so much to be thankful for. 😀

What did you do for New Years Eve?

How did you celebrate on New Year’s Eve?

As usual New Year’s Eve was a crazy night for me. I’m still shaking off a hangover with more champagne, but I feel damn good. I had a wonderful year last year, and met some amazing some people who have become great friends. I’m springing into 2012 with a positive mind and much love to give. Muah!

For New Year’s Eve, most of my friends go out and celebrate, get into the mix and party like nobody’s business, then wake up in a stranger’s house, not sure what happened the night before. I’ve been there many times in the past, and have some mortifying stories to tell. Forget it, I’m not telling you. 😀

I figure, if I’m going to get royally fucked up on New Year Eve, might as well do it in the comfort of my own home. Just in case I do something embarrassing, which is very likely.

First thing’s first, get the boys in bed.

As soon as it hit 8:30p, I was running them to bed.

It’s not an easy task since my boys are night stalkers. They run from sleep like it’s hunting them. The QVC glow bug and some classical tunes took care of that.

By the time I got down stairs my hubby was setting up goodie platter and drinks. Yummy. For the last three years we’ve celebrated New Years with sushi, sashimi and warm sake. We figured we’d change it up this year.

This platter did the trick!

After many glasses of champagne, laughs, hot sex and classic movie watching, we brought in the New Year with smiles and nakedness.

Share your night with me. How did you spend your New Year’s Eve?
