I wrote this post Facebook and wanted to share it with my fellow bloggers.
Today, I’m spotlighting my friend, Kyle Chaney. Many of you may recognize his name. The reason is, he’s my color master, the artist who colored the characters from The Dragon Queen Series.
I met him on Facebook some years ago. We immediately clicked and became friend. I have to tell you, he is one of the sweetest guys I have ever met. He is also one of the most talented. I must admit watching him work astonishes me every time. He just keeps getting better and better.
Today, I’m sharing some of his amazing artwork. And get this… they are all created with color pencils.
Recognize this man’s raw talent!
**If you click on any of the images it will take you to his Deviant Art page.**
Check out his Marketable Monsters set!
Did I mention these were all created with color pencils?
Good day, fellow bloggers, authors and readers! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I’ve been chosen by 2 authors on Facebook, Seraphina Donavan and Sam Cheever, to participate in the Lucky 7 game. So I went to page 7 in my current WIP and copied 7 paragraphs to share with you.
Ripp parted his luscious lips and slid the bright red candy over his tongue. He did it slowly, while eyeing me with that hypnotic gaze.
I swallowed back the lump in my throat. “Still sucking on lollipops? I would’ve thought you had grown out of that by now.”
He pulled it out of mouth with a loud slurping pop. “It’s either this, or sex, drugs and alcohol. This is my chosen poison.”
I watched him slip it back between his lips. God, I remembered… I remembered the sweet candy taste on his tongue on that one stormy night, the night he ravished me with a hot kiss. Shaking my head, I did my best to clear the lustful thoughts from my mind. “I can’t believe you’re not like fifty pounds heavier with a mouth full of cavities.”
He chuckled. “Would you still love me if I were?”
I averted my eyes and withstood the fluttering in my heart. “Ripp…”
“Look at us, all estranged and shite. We’re supposed to be best friends. Why has it been four years since we’ve seen each other, Aubrey?”
I hope you enjoyed that teaser. This scene is from my upcoming novel, Rock Star Lover from the Carnal Diaries Series! Later this month I’ll offer a sneak peek of the cover, 😉
It’s finally here! The day where we celebrate zombie and shifter love. *grin*
Today, and throughout the weekend, I will be celebrating the release of Shifting Darkness, a multicultural tale where a panther shifter falls in love with a woman infected with a demon virus known to turn humans into zombies. In order to keep her alive he has to defy the laws of his pack.
Won’t you come and celebrate with me?

Welcome to London, where the dead walks and the shifter packs rule.
“I’ve often asked myself, could I have you without hurting you; rouse your body in ways you never knew possible without tripping over to the dark side of my nature and taking my desire for you too far? How can I resist, when I want you more than my next breath?” ~ Tajaé Zhang
An unseen war is brewing in the shadowy underworld of London. Dr. Faith Miller, a local pathologist, is exposed to the horrific reality when she stumbles upon her brother consuming the flesh of his lover.
Tajaé Zhang, the second in command of the UK based black panther pack of the Chalvaiz clan, and his fellow shifters have been systematically exterminating the walking corpses—zombies, in an attempt to control the rapidly spreading demon virus.
Secretly, he has observed Faith from afar for months. His attraction for her has grown into an untamable love. After she’s bitten and infected with the virus, Tajaé defies the laws of the shifter packs and puts his life on the line to save hers.
Shifting Darkness is the 4th installment to the Dragon Queen Series.
Have you gotten your first taste?
