Long time no post, right? I’ve been super busy as of late, which is a good thing. It means the words are getting written! I’ve revised my writing schedule to make room for weekly postings. Hopefully, I’ll stick with it. I have my fingers crossed.
The IDP team and I have revamped my website to make the buying experience more enjoyable. There is now an “add to cart” option and a smoother checkout process. If you have any suggestions on making it even better, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
While we were updating the website, something extraordinary happened!
I ordered 20 print books of Raven’s Seduction. 10 glossy covers and 10 matte covers. That’s usually what I sell in a 4-month span.
Well, the day we set up the product page, all 20 of those books got sold out! There are 13 in backorder. Squee! This has never happened to me before. Not sure what’s going on in the universe, but I certainly appreciate the support.
I instantly ordered more. So as soon as Raven Seduction is back in stock, I’ll drop another post. In the meantime, it’s available on Amazon for immediate purchase.
My swaggy goodies are coming in, slowly but surely. I’m packing books and gifts as we speak.
It’s going to be an exciting trip to the post office!

Cay Winters is an impressionable free spirit from Los Angeles, California. Losing her mother at a very youthful age has given her a drive to live life a certain way. As she awaited his return, she inventoried the array images contained in the camera, then a cool breeze walked up her back.
“Well, well. Hello Ms. Winters. How are we doing this grand evening?”
Startled by his voice, Cay turned to see the mocha beastly thighs of Jeremiah. Panning up, her tongue drained of all its moisture watching the huge knot form in his trunks. Shaking the curious images of his naked body from her head, Cay stood to face his thick, muscle bound chest and beefy tattoo-engrossed arms.
Clearing her throat she squeezed out, “Hi Jeremiah. Nice to see you again. Eh, its a nice night huh? Are you enjoying the festival?” She was having a difficult time finding her words considering the warnings from William were starting to do exactly what she did not want, cloud her judgments.
“It is nothing new to me. Living in Charlotte Amalie has presented me with a lot of fresh new faces many of days. So I tend to not pay much attention to these little parties. But being in the presence of your elegance has made me find a new appreciation in the trivial festivities of life.” Every time he spoke, his words were so eloquently chosen that it was music to her ears. So far, Jeremiah was a welcome face versus the one she should run away from like a nightmare.
“That is a very nice compliment. Thank you. Where is your assistant tonight? Did she not want to come?” Cay wondered since they seemed to be attached at the hip. “I am sure she is around sniffing at potential morsels to sink her teeth into,” he said licking his lips.
Cay turned toward the festival grounds feeling as if the walls were closing in on her. “Um, yes. William left a few minutes ago to get us some food. He should be back soon.” Jeremiah ran a lone finger up her exposed spine making her cringe. “So you are aware that William is my little brother then? Yes he saddens me. Let us not speak on him please,” he said brushing his palm on her wavy hair. Facing him, ignoring his odd petting of her body, she met his popping pools of onyx that ignited a fire in her pit.
“Why does William upset you so much?” She whispered slowly. Jeremiah stood close enough to Cay that her nipples drew to his chest like magnets. Brushing a lock behind her ear, he touched his lips across her lobe. “William is not the right match for you Cay.” He kissed her neck.
“Oh no? He isn’t the right match?” She spoke on breathy tones. Cay felt so gone in her movements. So turned on to the point she could not retreat. Whatever Jeremiah was giving, she was buying. She could feel his wet kisses on her shoulder and collarbone; but, she was stuck in an abyss, not being able to find her way out. “Tell me Jeremiah.” She pulled his hips closer, grinding her aching heat against his firmness. “Tell me please.” Tiny pinpoints grazed her skin causing Cay to cry out from the cascade of fluids escaping her inner folds. “Mmm,” she heard come from his mouth.
“What the fuck are you doing! Get the hell away from her!” Cay heard the familiar voice but her attention was elsewhere. Popping out of her dream, hitting the hard mound of sand, Cay gasped for oxygen, rubbing the blurry sting from her eyes.
“Why so angry brother? We were just discussing you,” Jeremiah curled his lips into a sinister grin.
“Jeremiah! I warned you to stay away from her!” William snarled.
Cay still woozy struggled to stand. “What is going on? William why are you shouting? Jeremiah and I were talking about the party.” Confusion mixed with nausea made her drop to her knees.
“Stay out of this Cay!” William shouted.
Jeremiah let out a rumble of laughter. He offered his hand to Cay, “Oh brother do not be so insensitive to such a lovely lady. Are you okay dear? Come, let me help you.” Before she could receive the help being offer, William shoved Jeremiah so hard, he stepped back a few yards.
“I am going to fuck you up for that mistake,” Jeremiah snarled. William took flight from the force of Jeremiah’s blow, falling to the ground. Cay gasped, but she could not move. She was so fatigued, confused as to why. Sitting back on her haunches, she felt someone loop her arm over their shoulder. Cay slowly glided away from the scene of the two men ripping each other apart. After closing her eyes for a bit, her fog started to lift. Cool water splashed on her brow. Somehow she had made it to the building housing the restrooms. Her wits were still off but she saw her savior.
FACT about my latest novella, Shadows & Dust: The lead heroine of the story, Havoc, portrays a real person in my life.
And yes, she also has pink hair. It displays the truly wild side of her personality.
Also fact, the title Shadows & Dust came to me while watching the movie Gladiator. It was a line by Proximo, during one of my favorite scenes in the movie.
“Marcus Aurelius is dead, Maximus. We mortals are but shadows and dust. Shadows and dust, Maximus!”
Another scene became meaningful when Proximo said,
“Ultimately, we’re all dead men. Sadly, we cannot choose how but, what we can decide is how we meet that end, in order that we are remembered, as men.”

A one-inch UV capsule shot down the barrel and sought out its target in the dead heart of the one on the right. It was there the liquid poisonous to vampires was released.
Ultraviolet light expelled from his mouth, eyes, nostrils and ears in a brilliant display of silvery-blue rays. Sinking to his knees, he released a blood gurgling shrill. His eyeballs melted in their sockets. His flesh liquefied and oozed from his skeletal frame.
Before he could dissolve into a heap of steaming mush and bones, she whipped the barrel of her gun toward the other one.
He vanished before she could get a shot off.
“Crap.” Havoc rose to her feet and slid her glock back into its holster. The creature circled her in flashing movements, never staying in one place longer than a split second. This made it impossible to pinpoint his location.
His taunting laughter echoed all around her. “Oh, so you think you’re bad? Huh, bitch?”
Great. Another low-level idiot.
She reached over her head and wrapped her fingers tightly around the handle of her blade. The fact he used this drifting technique to confuse her suggested he wouldn’t be brave enough to come at her head on. So his attack would most likely come from behind.
Just as she predicted, he rushed her from the rear. He yanked at her coat, snatching her out of her battle stance and against his hard body. An arm rounded her waist; his foul breath steamed her neck. She threw an elbow back and smashed him in the nose.
Hissing, he leaped back from her, circled around to her blind spot and lunged at her again.
Sword drawn, she spun around, crouched low and swept her blade in a wide arc.
A sharp ching rung out, followed by a throaty howl. Blood exploded across the wall. Cleaved in two, the halves of his body crumpled to the ground. His flesh crinkled and faded to a ghastly gray before he disintegrated into ashes and flittered away on the wind.
