Biting back a groan, Havoc ripped her sword out of the vamp’s chest.
A sharp scream leaped from him. “Aam erl!” he groaned, pinning her with a one-eyed glare.
She crouched over him, matching his heated glower. “Do you remember what I asked you earlier? Or should I plunge a stake through your dick to help jog your memory?”
He thrashed about violently, tearing bigger holes in his wrists. The sound of his flesh ripping around the lethal stakes whipped through the foul air.
“Glutton for punishment, huh?”
Finally, he stopped moving and released a faint whimper. “Wa ong wih ou!” His tongue dangled limply from his disfigured mouth and shattered jawbone. “Ha I ose oo alk wih ah aw ike ish?”
Oh, right. Probably should’ve held back a bit on the pummeling if she expected to get answers. She grabbed his chin and snapped his jaw back into place.
His supernatural ligaments instantly aligned and fused together.
“Now talk.”
