Jinn grumbled something in Chinese, then shoved a bag at her. “Hurry and put this on.”
Havoc peered inside, discovering a rather provocative leather-strapped lingerie ensemble. Chains dangled, connecting a bustier to garters. She remembered seeing the chambermaids clad in similar attire. “Na-uhh. No, sir.” She pushed the bag back at him. “I’m not wearing that gaudy crap.” She untied her robe and brushed it from over her shoulders, letting it hit the floor. “I’m good.”
Jinn stumbled back, his hand covering his mouth. All the color drained from his face. “Oh God, what are you wearing?”
She smoothed her hands over the sides of her breasts, which were snuggled up in a tight tank top. “The sexiest fit on the planet. Shirt and panties.”
“You know that’s not what I’m talking about, Joan.”
She glanced down at herself. “Oh yeah, that.” Before leaving the library, she raided the artillery display and strapped up. She holstered on two pistols, a battle knife, and that pretty royal blue katana. “Listen, I’m a Hunter. I walk into every situation expecting it to go sideways. No matter how badly I need to get dicked down, you will never catch me slipping.”
