🌟 Meet Desiree: The Seductive, Fun-Loving Fae πŸ¦‹

Episode 3 of “A Noble’s Eternal Heart” is now live and ready to be devoured! πŸ“–πŸŽ‰

I want to take a moment to talk about Desiree, Nicoya’s best friend and roomie.

I was watching the dark fantasy show Carnival Row, and there was a fae with blue hair who worked in the brothel. πŸ’™ I couldn’t help but imagine the character with a darker skin tone and a sassier attitude. And just like that, Desiree was bornβ€”a character I hope leaves a lasting impression! 🎭🌹

Desiree is the friend we all needβ€”supportive, charismatic, always ready to throw hands at anyone who hurts you, and wacky and fun at the most inappropriate times! πŸ‘ŠπŸΎπŸ’₯ In A Noble’s Eternal Heart, I don’t delve deep into her backstory since this is a love story about Nicoya and Prince Zavier. But you’ll still get a taste of her amazing personality and the deep bond she shares with Nicoya! πŸ’–

Despite her fun-loving nature, Desiree’s origin story is pretty sad and traumatic. Her mother yearned for a child with human traits but she was devastated when Desiree was born with horns and wings, unmistakably fae. In a desperate attempt to make her look more human, her mother subjected her to painful procedures, stripping her of her wings. However, removing her horns was a lethal risk, leading her mother to abandon her.

A human woman found Desiree bleeding and alone in an alleyway. She took in the abandoned child and raised her as her own. Though Desiree was just an infant when abandoned, the scars of rejection run deep in her soul. As an adult, she carries the weight of this trauma, finding it difficult to form lasting relationships. But when she met Nicoya, everything changed.

Remember this beautiful fae hybrid. I’m pretty sure she’ll pop up in another story! πŸ˜‰
