Okay, here we go. I’ve written a flash fiction from the image below, which was chosen by one of my FFF comrades. Exactly 100 words, no more, no less.

Flash Fiction Friday #4 ~ Turned
Dustin awakened with a Texas sized headache and a throbbing pain in his mouth. He sat up and groaned, “What’d you do to me?”
Lounged next to him, she angled her long milky legs in the air and strapped on her pumps. “I’ve turned you into the creature you’ve been trained to hunt.” Seeming intoxicated, she laughed. “Mmm, your blood muddles my senses. However, it’s delicious. I desire more.”
Compelled, he tilted his head and offered his jugular. “When my partner returns, she will kill us both.”
“I’d like to see her try.” Fangs extended, she plunged into his flesh.
Okay, this is not the norm, but this image was so inspiring that I decided to write another 100 word flash tale from a different point of view. I hope you like it. 🙂
Flash Fiction Friday ~ Turned (part 2)
Suppressing tears, Wanda stepped back from the keyhole and drew her pistol. She kicked the door in and fired.
Dodging the lethal shots, the female demon dashed toward the window.
Wanda raced behind her, unsheathed her saber and sent it cleaving through her neck. Before the creature could burst into ashes, she whirled her pistol toward Dustin.
He stood. “Do it.”
Her finger trembled over the trigger. “Dammit Dustin…”
“Could you still love me?” He walked up on her and pressed his forehead to the barrel. “Like this?”
Sobbing, she dropped her weapons and threw herself into his arms.
